My little boy turned 3 yesterday! My, how time flies. He loves Dinosaurs right now so I made him a dinosaur cake with a big volcano. He was VERY interested in helping me make, bake, and decorate the cake. Here he is investigating one my decorating tools:

We just invited some of Bret's relatives over that live in the area: Grandma Payne, Aunt Jeanne, Cousin LeAnne, and Cousin Brent. They helped us to sing Happy Birthday and ate some cake and ice cream.

Happy Birthday Kien! I'm glad you were able to spend the day home with him baking a fabulous cake instead of in the hospital! Yay! The cross-eyed picture cracked me up.

Okay, your cakes are amazing! As for your little dinosaur of a son...he's so dang cute and brings back so many memories. Can't believe he's three already. Hope you're feeling well.

So cute! I just love his faces. My 2 (almost 3 yr old) is doing the same thing. I think I should take more pictures of the funny faces rather then wait for her to smile. LOVE the cake! You seriously have a gift with food.
